Written in the summer of '86. At the age of 86, Dad's still exceptionally unwilling to give me responsibility for anything. This song turned out to be prophetic of my next 27 years.


Love and the Line

On one of his visits back to the UK, I asked Nicky to add a guitar lead to a track I was working on - an 'advertorial'  90s  tune about Quent's shop in Park City. That went well, and we retired to the pub - the Fox and Grapes. We got locked in. When we had to leave, Nick said to me, "That was fun, let's do another".  So we did, rather drunk. This track was written and recorded in a couple of hours, between 1 and 3 a.m. some time in the spring of , um, 1995?
