Originating from the boot, but now relocated to Amsterdam, Gropina is a DJ, producer and  one of the figures behind Paesaggi Records.  As a music maker, he paints aural abstractions that cut through an ever-unpredictable broad spectrum, generally with an atmospheric quality. Every so often you can catch him playing genre-bending records at parties, in bars, and on web radios. He’s also part of the experimental music trio “Pittori Locali”.

For this EST mix, Gropina initiates a sidereal journey to the remote corners of outer space through library soundscapes, OST bits, overtone chants, spaced-out kraut, and more. Belt up and drift inwards where all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
