The next instalment in the Phase Group Mix series is delivered by dear friend and contributing artist to the label, Low Bat. 

Low Bat lives amongst the black coal hills of northern France. When he isn’t marking textbooks and exposing Neue Deutsche Welle to the classrooms, the French DJ, musician and teacher keeps himself busy playing with his band Jean Luc, co-running the Yellow Light of Death festival and curating radio as 1/3 of the team behind Tblisi’s Mutant Radio. 

On top of this, he makes up 1/2 of Lowspace, the newest additions to Phase Group, who’s split tape with Lostsoundbytes will be coming out in December

His Phase Group Mix is a masterfully sequenced mad ride through post punk, psych rock, French trip hop, and proto trance. Thanks Louis!

As a long-time friend, Stefan Schneider has not only released albums of his own music projects Mapstation, To Rococo Rot and Deux Baleines Blanches on Bureau B, but also collaborations with Hans-Joachim Roedelius or Sven Kacirek. As well as he curated two compilations: 'Sammlung - Elektronische Kassettenmusik, Düsseldorf 1982 - 1989' (2017) and 'Klar!80 - Ein Kassetten-Label aus Düsseldorf 1980-82' (2023).

Bureau B is all the more excited to have Stefan as a guest for the July Outsiders installment. In two hours he will present some of his work as well as a lot of music from his own label TAL.
