This is my songwriting in its purest, most stripped back form. The very first songs I wrote had this folk influence similar to the sounds of Angus and Julia Stone and Ben Howard.

Whilst I love writing pop and electronic music now my songs will forever grow from songs like this.

From Manchester England to the sunny shorelines of Perth Western Australia, Tasha Mitchell is a contemporary artist who writes with authenticity and integrity. At 24 years old, Tasha has already achieved international recognition with over 24,000 views on her old Youtube channel, and almost 70,000 streams on a SoundCloud cover of 'Keeping Your Head Up' by Birdy, conveniently one of Tasha's musical influences. 

After collaborating with Japanese artist Kaito Wakabayashi in 2017-2018, with singles 'Feeling Fine' and 'Remember Me', Tasha Mitchell is currently in the process of releasing her independent debut EP Finding Light. Consisting of four tracks, Finding Light captures longing and hope in sweet melodies and suspenseful instrumentation. With compliments to the works of Gabrielle Aplin, Adele, and Birdy, it collects piano ballads with sophisticated band arrangements that expose deeper emotions through the four-part video graphic series. Finding Light is available on all major streaming platforms.
