Brief:
As the audience enter, they are confronted with a terraced house, standing proud in the centre of the space.
At start, music is heard in the distance (perhaps a train arriving at a station unfamiliar to the passengers, after a long journey), as the auditorium lights slowly drain away.
There is a moment of darkness and then a sudden, explosive jolt in the music. With this explosion, the stage lights ignite, and we see the house explode and crumble to smithereens in front of us. 
Once the dust has settled, the lights change and the music subtly draws us into the world of the play, as we discover Lenny sitting on a couch amongst the rubble and Max makes his entrance. 
This cue / moment should last approximately 40-50 seconds.
