First composed and sung by Thinley Gyamtsho (lyrics and melody) and Kunzang Longdrel (lyrics) in 1990. He wrote this song for his wife on a cold day in December 1990 when he was in the U.K. Thinley recorded this song in his voice on a cassette tape and sent it to his wife in a parcel that was filled with gifts for her and children. Lyrics were written in collaboration with late lopen Kunzang Longdrel.
