Bollo is a Slovakia-born and raised DJ and producer residing in California, who started to experiment with electronic music production in the mid-nineties. 

  With his versatility, moving around all the different styles and flavors of music, he's got many of his tracks signed to the likes of various labels around the world such as Quantize, King Street Sounds, Open Bar Music, Kings Of Groove, Purple Edge Records, Stratospherik, Universe Media, Subinstinct Records, Heavenly Bodies, Liquid Grooves, Seta Label, Blockhead Recordings,  amongst many others. 

    Through his music, and his own record label Soluble Recordings, he has worked with a wide range of great artists such as Jocelyn Brown, Dj Spen, Lem Springsteen, Hector Romero, Giom, Jay Tripwire, Harold Heath, Evren Ulusoy, Soul Minority, Lifford, Louie Austen, and many others. His ever-groovy productions and DJ sets gained him international recognition and allowed him to play at some great clubs and festivals in Europe and USA.

    In 2015 he first performed at Miami WMC, in 2018 he was participating in the conference as a panelist, getting recognition from many high-profile artists. As a resident artist in Ibiza, every summer season Bollo performs at numerous venues around the island and continues building a great reputation on the international house music scene. 

    In 2018 he has moved to LA, where he works as a producer at a recording studio in Seal Beach and regularly performs as a DJ or live act at various venues all around the country. Bollo is a host of Eivissa Sound, a regular radio show on Ibiza Global Radio, that besides Spain and Ibiza is also syndicated on 95,3 FM in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. His regular podcast Soluble Sessions is distributed to many music platforms worldwide through NYC-based Chill Lover Radio.

Catch the magic of LA rave icons @Thee-O and @Ben-Annand in an unplanned b2b set at the Tropikroma Campout in Santa Clarita in August 2023!

This outdoor event survived a location shift the week of the party and crazy weather brought in by hurricane Hilary that canceled every other event, leaving Tropkroma as the last event standing.

The night was an homage to perseverance among the three organizers collaborating on the event - Tropical, Terrakroma, and The Gathering, ChinoSound who provided crystal clear Danley sound, and the 100 or so die-hard dancers that braved the first ever hurricane to hit LA - in August no less - and dance at this magical event in the trees.

Because we knew that rains would come in heavily in the late morning we made some shifts in the schedule.  Most notable was to move Thee-O's morning set into a combined nighttime back to back set with Ben Annand.

Thee-O is one of the most prolific LA DJs of all time, possibly playing the most total sets of any LA underground DJ from the 90s til now.  Ben also has an impressive DJ resume in addition to being the founder and vision behind Tropical, one of LA's most consistent, well-known and well-loved little underground events :)

There is no shortage of history between these two iconic LA underground warriors... At Ben's very first LA DJ gig for an outside promoter in 1996, he opened for Thee-O at Hollywood's infamous Gotham Club.  Ben DJed as Mr. Annand back then and is listed as such on the title for sake of nostalgia :)

The two have played together frequently since, and Thee-O has been a featured guest at Tropical parties in California, Oregon, and Hawaii.

Note how this set flows almost perfectly through a variety of styles between the 2 DJs switching every 4 tracks.  Hopefully this unexpected collaboration between Thee-O and Ben Annand will not be the last!

Cris Herrera - January 2021 Weekender Mix

Tashi originally from Japan moved to Vancouver in 2013 he quickly established himself as a solid performer booked regularly by some of the  top promoters in Vancouver. Currently he is a resident dj for legendary after hour club 'Gorg-O-Mish' & 'You Plus One', also acting as a promoter at 'Chrome Gatherings' where he organizes gatherings which are essentially House, Techno & Trance gatherings. During the summer he plays a big part in managing electronic music stage 'Zen Den' at 'Electric Love Music Festival' and is booked year after year at some of the outdoor festivals happening in British Columbia. 
Born into a family of musicians he grew up experiencing the underground dance music scene in Japan, going to outdoor festivals listening to live music and electronic music since he was very young. He started with spinning at some of the local night clubs and outdoor parties in his home town Miyazaki & Kyushu. Tashi plays various genres of underground sound like House, Techno and Trance. He has shared stage with some of the most  reputable international and local artists. Catch him at his next gig near you!
