Dan’s approach to a set is illusive, as his love for music has no limits, and his long experience in endless dancefloors through the years taught him one thing – Expect the unexpected. 

From Jerusalem & Tel Aviv’s clubs & bright rooftops, to Berlin’s dark voids and back. 

Lt.Dan’s journey began as a promoter for legendary clubs Haoman17 & Block Club, where he absorbed the old-school minerals and a patient approach to DJ sets, while constantly feeling the pulse of the dancefloor.
In 2006, Dan started DJing with "Legotek" group, an infamous crew rocking Tel Aviv rooftops and clubs, and later formed his own "Freaktion", an international collective of artists hosting legendary nights the city’s best venues such as the block, Breakfast Club, Bootleg, Deli & many more. 

After settling in Berlin in 2014, Dan became a member of Berlin’s Ritter Butzke, where he co-founded the weekly "Donnersducks" parties with DJ & Producer Tripolitan, and formed the "deja groove" conceptual parties with the Tropical Camel while touring Europe’s finest dancefloors.

After 5 Berlin years, Dan came back to Tel Aviv, launching his “Delight” pop-up parties, while managing the booking & promotion of Jerusalem’s super cave Pergamon Club.

2021 marked the beginning of a successful partnership with Producer, DJ & musical icon Nadav Ravid: “<120”: Conceptual parties focusing on the slower side of the dancefloor, following a direct path set by the famous “A Love From Outer Space” parties, founded by Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston.

As a DJ, Dan avoids boundaries & settings as he constantly moves through light and dark, fast & slow, and focuses on the feeling on the floor.

The_And has firstly touched the turntables when reaching his maturity  during the high school in the past century. It was the time, when “rave” and “underground” were not just an inflected pose surrounded around the cliche. Starting with techno, he has swum the wave of minimal, house, disco and also deep house music. Nowadays, he has shaped himself somewhere between analog/raw/acid/breaks and some stolen stuff from the 90ties for the “stylish youth” (TM) with occasional backspins to the roots of Detroit and Chicago for his peers. 
With the JTT DJs crew he has promoted a solid amount of parties back in the days, yet more of them played by himself.

Ku gramcom sa dostal niekedy počas strednej školy ešte v minulom storočí, keď pojmy "rave" a "underground" neboli iba všadeskloňovaná póza. Začal pri techne, prešiel cez vlnu minimalu, house, diska aj deepu. Momentálne sa hudobne stráca niekde na pomedzí analog/raw/acid/breaks a vykrádačiek 90ties pre “štýlovú mládež” (TM) s občasnými backspinmi ku koreňom detroitu a chicaga pre rovesníkov. Na konte má spolu s JTT DJs slušný počet zorganizovaných akcií, ešte viac odohraných.
