The title of this song is a play on my initials: E.T. I asked my ex-wife what the tile should be, & the one ultimately chosen was "Excessive Truth" after 4 other options before it. Excessive Truth seemed the most fitting after considering what I had written at that point. Verse 3 has a lot of "E.T.s" in it, if you listen closely.
The beat is originally titled "Abduction" from A Wildbeat.

My parts in this track were written when life was rough, but I had a vision of a better future. W/ an intricate rhyme pattern based off the beat produced by Wyshmaster Beats, the verse content was derived from the chorus provided by Krizz Kaliko. Some of the lines were also inspired by other local rappers & the cover photo includes a shirt from a local clothing line. I got quite personal in this track, admitting there are things I am outgrowing. I sincerely hope this song brings someone hope during a storm in life.
