Bandua takes the centuries-old, traditional music from the Beira Baixa region of Portugal, and re-imagines it with an electronic folk reinterpretation. Conceived by Portuguese/Brazilian musician, sound-explorer and eclectic producer Tempura (Bernardo D'Addario) and Portuguese singer and all-round musician Edgar Valente, Bandua represents the first time that these sounds and songs have been repurposed as a melancholic, Portuguese-language electronic pop record.

Influenced by pagan and Moorish traditions, Beira Baixa is a central region of Portugal steeped in ancient culture with a rugged, hyper-regionalised history of folk music. With both artists having roots in the region, it felt right for them to collaborate and produce this love-letter to their homes. “Bandua is a reinterpretation of traditional Portuguese songs from the Beira Baixa region, bringing them into the modern world,” explains Tempura “we wanted to create something new, while not forgetting where we came from.”

Through Bandua, this ancient tradition of story-telling through percussive, multi-toned music will now find a new generation of listeners, thanks to Tempura and Edgar Valente.

Our Way Through Processes is Arilu's first album after EP releases such as Lemuria and Era of Harmony and contains work from the last 4 years.
The album reflects a long journey through all the ups and downs, emotions, thoughts, all facets of the artist's life, but at the same time it contains a wide spectrum of healing frequencies and songs.
The intention of this album is to let the listener feel/experience their conscious/unconscious serving but also no longer serving emotions, with the aim of feeling or letting go of them in peace and harmony. They can put you into a kind of trance or meditative state.
They touch us when we listen attentively to the sounds, experience them as a sound journey, e.g. for ecstatic dances, for quiet inner reflection or dream journeys etc.

bio:
Arilu discovered her passion for music since she was a child. The melodies of Nature and electronic frequencies inspired her in the early stage of her musical formation.
Her own produced music represents a delicate rhythm, research, tenderness of sounds and a super fine taste.
She chooses to express himself through music in a unique, very deep and marvelous way. A soul that tender, that when you listen to its stories there is an explosion of feelings. Time and space are no longer relevant, everything is translated into a musical stage full of love, peace, light, and harmony, impossible to describe in words.
Embracing a wide range of music, Arilu indulge us with some very natural and sensitive sounds, presenting her healing frequencies, also due to her soul-singing, giving a wonderful experience to any soul.

GUAZÚ’s self-titled first release takes us on a voyage across the soundscapes and landscapes of Latin America, from humid rainforests, to wide plains, from the Andes mountain range to sprawling cities. The release opens with the mysterious and dubby “Guazú” before delving into a rhythmic journey painted with marimbas, bombo legüeros, warm guitars, kalimbas and birdsong but always centred around the rich percussive legacy of Latin America.

Hör zu, Deutschland! ist eine kollektive Protestaktion und Call to Action! Von Menschen für Menschen! Gegen das Schweigen - für ein Ende von Genozid und Komplizenschaft! 

Initiiert wurde “Hör’ zu, Deutschland!” von Elisabeth Weydt (Journalistin, Autorin und Mitbegründerin von Radio Utopistan e.V.) und Jill Cebeli (Kunsttherapeutin und -pädagogin). Realisiert wurde das Archiv durch die gemeinsame ehrenamtliche Tatkraft eines großartigen Teams von Bewohner*innen aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet.
