Probably I should write a few words about myself… 
I was born in the Soviet Union that enjoyed last days of its existence. Due to the heroic encouragement of my parents, I have graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. I was fortunate enough, so during my work in the Classical Music Radio I had the honor to get acquainted with vast materials in the fields of Classics and Jazz. This is all of it… 
My passion with music was a tiny protest to the austerity that my father showed when he made us brothers study mathematics. I hated this field of science, so I fled to the music from it. Yet, as my knowledge grew deeper, music became very much resembling to the mathematics, to the version of math that has sounding, and to the model of the Universe abounding in generalities, and still having no boundaries. 
I have chosen Barbed Strings for the selection of works and I have performed on the guitar an improvisation of four Georgian authors (David Toradze, Vazha Azarashvili, Roma Rtskhiladze, and Irakli Charkviani), universally known in my homeland. This music was created in Georgia of 50-90s of the 20th century, which was yet Soviet or newly independent (though we still have problems with sovereignty). With my own three compositions, I have attempted to make bridges between these opuses. Here I included also the fantasy on the theme written by Vazha Kalandadze (Professor at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire), titled Morning Grace, as well as the prologue and epilogue that belong to me. I cannot say, I am too satisfied with this work, but with its political cover and romantic contents, it resembles of myself. 
I was often asked: why the guitar? 
Presumably because the guitar was the “weapon” of those superheroes, who were worshipped by the generations or our fathers grown on the novels of Dumas even before I was born. 
Here is the whole pantheon of gods: Jimi Henrdix, Paco de Lucía, Django Reinhardt, etc. I don’t even remember when provocatively stretched Jimmy Page and his Double Neck Gibson were imprinted in my consciousness.  
I used to think in my childhood that someday my connection to this instrument would have a sacral importance for me just as to a magic relic left to me as a heritage. Even if I had no musical ear, I think still a Fender Stratocaster turned into a symbol of freedom might adorn any of the corners of my room. 
If you still did not understand me, then remember Another Brick in the Wall - the scene of children pillaging the school and David Gilmour’s solo. 
What about myself, I will try to swallow the little ball that was formed in my throat right now.
