Versi, prosodia, rime non sono più assicurazione di poesia di quanto le note scritte siano assicurazione di musica. Spesso si trova più poesia nella prosa che nella poesia stessa e più musica nel linguaggio parlato e nel rumore che nei suoni musicali convenzionali.
