The track is leaded by a mental arpeggio which is growing & growing until an explosive breakdown. 'Sun And Sand' was made by the Suaras boss, the Canadian Weska and the German Kevin de Bries, it's elegant and intense techno track produced around a female sample vox.

“Everybody knows the vocal sample from the St.Germain record ‘Rose Rouge’, but a lot of people 
don’t know the original track is by Marlene Shaw, from a live performance she did back in the days. 
It’s been sampled by a lot of other people like Bob Sinclar, Grandmaster Flash and the famous 90s hit 
from Blue Boy. We have a lot of memories with this vocal because we were growing up in the 90s. 
That’s why we decided to do our take on this one. The first time we played it on a big festival we 
were shocked how well it works… That’s why we decided to release it officially, along with a second 
version that’s more stripped-down and based only on the conga and djembe rhythms.” 
Rattling rhythms, hypnotic percussion, an acid line straight from the gutter of the ghetto and one of 
the greatest voices in soul history; this is nothing short of essential.
