Jungle Rhythm

The idea was to bring a beautiful melody to a younger crowd by elimination of the orchestra and replacing it with a simple but joyful electronic beat. Add to this a beautiful female voice who wants to remain anonymous. The French Lady struggled to sing in languages she had never heard of which gave me the idea to add a French strophy as a reward for her hard training. The "French touch" was born

South African National Anthem "French Touch"

It has always been my wish to produce a tribute to one of my preferred artists ever. Thanks to the "Amsterdam Connection" a marriage between Harmonica and Sax became what can't be called just a remake but rather a new creation. Bilingual lyrics (my two home languages French and German) make it also very special.

If I found my way back to music after a DJ career in my much younger days, I owe this Caz Dricks, my associate  at Caz Dricks Production and principal artist. This brilliant approach to an apparently hopeless situation in Cape Town's ghetto Hanover Park, demonstrating what life under cross fire in an environment run by drug dealers means - while children - the first victims - are being raised with all the love parents can give while struggling for their own survival.  Accusing, yet giving hope, this track will not let you indifferent.

I took this production of my partner artist Caz further and pushed the industrial  beat to the extreme, accusing that slavery in fact has never been abolished, as most recently observed with child labour under unbearable conditions in "Democratic" Republic of Congo to extract primary materials for the production of E-car's and i-Phone's batteries, etc...

By Force

There was a lot of anger that motivated me to produce this track. Yet I wanted it joyfull in these sad times of lockdown and how our "leaders" deal with the crisis.  Democracy, demo-crazy or dictatorship - no geo-vernment can tell me what is essential for me, and with my French background - well listen to the lyrics... I intentionally chose a "bush radio" sound for my vox - and for the rest, I intended to create a journey from the 70ties till now. A blend of funk/disco/house/rock. Thanks to Alex and Gilles. I hope you guys out there like it.
