TAVARES DAIZE was first introduced as a finalist on the MTV VJ-3 show in 2000. Co-hosting as a special guest on the Mandy Moore Show that summer and MTV’s Original Series MTV Jams. Tavares Daize has released 2 albums Same Daize Different Time and his sophomore album, Reality Check, which proved to be a refreshing well-balanced blend coined main-ground hip-hop. He now works for the B.E.T. Awards 2003,2005,2007,2008 and the B.E.T. 25th Anniversary Celebration. Get to know Tavares Daize. 

2016 After a much needed hiatus Tavares is taking lessons learned as a father, ex-fiancé, son, brother and a man he has chosen to live and restore his love affair with his one true love "music". Still writing songs, poetry and inspirational motivating quotes, he has begun to understand his god given Gift. In 2020 his New Tavares Daize album titled “LEGEND OF THE SUMMER” is coming after taking time off for family and understanding life in its full capacity! He's excited to take on the next chapter of his life, writing a book of poetry titled "Kissed by the Wind" A Book of Poems and Passion Volumes 1 & Volume 2, which really put life in perspective for this California native who's love affair with music has been paramount throughout his life.
