Most of us had a long, lousy and low winter. That's why this comes out in 21'. My mostly played dancefloor superhits in one mixtape. Sharing this for your trips to the festivals of this summer to hear the new sounds of 21'.

2020'Heats

Lithuania – just after collapsing of the USSR, the first crazy years of regained independence in the '90s. It was the wild times for gaining wealth and many of so-called ordinary folks' lives going down the drain.

The tape goes into section – archeology. It is not a set of the nostalgic cult anthems of the era, but rather obscure pieces of music from naïve mainstream pop to no less naïve alternative scene. Inserts of media interviews add a layer of humour, but only if you understand the Lithuanian. If not, explore and enjoy the music that at some moments is brilliant.  

Listen ‘Jaunimo sodas’ on the summer night at the bonfire with your friends or at the party when it goes well into the next day. The feeling of softness follows through this lo-fi piece of music from a time that has already happened, in contrast to the present and the future.

Dabar gi kartu su ja ruošiamės keliauti prie jūros, nes šis miksas – pats tas prailgintam savaitgaliui Nidoje.

The latest Ant Bangos Festival podcast is provided by a young lady with a beautiful soul. Kaunas-based @gemayelsandra is a resident at the city’s famous Lizdas club. Seems like this was not enough for a breakthrough dj as 2020 brought her New Blood title at friendly Opium. Now it’s time to take a trip to the seaside with Sandra. Her groovy selection for an extended summer weekend in Nida sounds just great.
