"9th Brigade is actually the first song we wrote to set up this project. The idea was actually very simple: Drums, bass, a launchpad and some backtracks ... and the need to write something raw, fast and melodic in between two worlds: Live electric guitars and drums and electronic elements. We wanted this first single to be well produced, but also a bit DIY and raw, in order for listeners to feel the live feeling behind the recording sessions".

The End

Taxi Cab – Copenhagen based duo instrumentalists and producers Andreas Pröll and Guillaume Blj – felt the need to team up and start a side project together, combining their different skills and aesthetics into the creation of a project throughout which they could play whatever they would feel like, without any boundaries.

If you have a talk with the guys about how they would defined their own music, they would just answer: "What ever you call it..! We're just in a nice positive space where we can get creative and be the band we want to be". 

Through its music, Taxi Cab is sharing different feelings with only one philosophy: making music that is all together artistically, technically, and emotionally engaged in hopes of establishing connections with all interested people. 

After spending the last two years writing music, Taxi Cab is now ready to take off and hit the stage with dinamyc live performances.
