Mafo is a lover's song. Mafo is a word in Yoruba language that literally means "Don't break", but to many urban Nigerians (both home and abroad),it has become a popular street lingo that means "stand firm", "stay solid", "stay composed", "don't fret", "be rest assured" e.t.c 
Tayeh has just made a record that speaks true to undying love and its celebration. The Chorus is catchy and I have no doubt people will love it.

Tayeh is a fusionist. While her sound leans more towards classic pop with vocals delivered in a blend of english and her native language which is characteristic of the Afropop genre, she is considered an alternative (Alté) artist in some circles in Nigeria. 

Her preference in music is heavily influenced by pop anthems from Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift and Coldplay which she fell in love with from her early years.

Aside music, Tayeh enjoys the notion of empowering the girl child in every facet of life.
