Gloria del Paraguay (Gloria Criscione Pineda) is a Paraguayan soprano who, without neglecting her artistic side as singer in operas and arias, published a record in Spain that paid tribute to Brazilian music in 1976. In the song that we have chosen, composed by the great brazilian musician José Prates and dedicated to one of the deities of the yoruba religion, Gloria gets into the world of the exotica accompanied by musicians who give it an interesting groovie touch. Trio Lluvia was an interesting Argentine folk rock group that recorded three homonymous albums between 1975 and 1977. Formed by the brothers Sardou and Nora Basile, Trío Lluvia had little luck with the music criticism and scant sales despite recording things like this delicate song with bossa airs ironically titled "Unimportant song". The prolific catalan musician and composer José Solá, left his mark on numerous soundtracks, being considered a pioneer of the introduction of jazz on spanish screens. In "Sharon vestida de rojo", a melodrama directed in 1968 by Germán Lorente, he counted on the collaboration of Tete Montoliu to the piano to recreate the easy listening environments, as is the case of the exquisite intrumental "Panoramicas".

Brazilian-inspired musical project, Orquesta Carioca had as brains J L. Mora (almost certainly Joan Luis Moraleda, arranger and composer whose works for advertising jingles have become coveted collectibles), Manuel Camp (founder of the progressive rock group Fusion and member, among others, of Companyia Elèctrica Dharma or Pegasus) and Antoni Parera Fons (singer-songwriter in the beginning and then reputed producer and arranger, as curiosity grandfather of tennis player Rafa Nadal). Edited by Hispavox in Spain, Greece and Australia, "Rumbeando" is a sui generis approach to brazilian music, a rarity full of breaks and groove with a very personal touch, as happens in the addictive track "Camino de Lunas" and its peculiar flamenco touch.
