In Montreal 50,000 people marched in solidarity with Palestinians and were addressed by, among others, a vice-president of the CSN, a major trade union federation in Quebec. 

Yet, most English language media outside Quebec payed little or no mention of this remarkable event. Robin reminds us that there is a strong tradition in Quebec of support for anti-colonial movements.
