The Hungry

This song was written on an island in Cambodia called Koh Totang.  My friend Levi Felix lived on this island for many months and told me to go there while on my journeys through SE Asia.  I actually met up with Levi on that island and he was there when this song was written.  This recording is from a campfire session two years later at Camp Grounded in Summer of 2015.  The first 4 minutes or so are of Levi describing the island and how he came to find it.  The rest of the recording is the song itself, with Jon Seltzer on the second guitar.  You can hear Levi's voice harmonizing along at the 8-minute mark.  Many thanks to Ryan Rogers for this recording.

I played this at my mother's memorial service a month after she passed in February, 2019.  It's a beautiful song written by John Mayer.  I added my own lyrics for the final verse.
