Initially formed out of a desire to step back from the intensity of peak-time club spaces, the DRIFT project has enjoyed 5 wonderfully relaxed years, during which they've curated some truly memorable listening bar events across the UK. In order to celebrate the special milestone, they've asked 12 producers and artists previously involved with DRIFT in one way or another to contribute something in their own style for a very special compilation album entitled "5 Years of DRIFT". Releasing fully on the 15th March, the release showcases a range of genres from spoken word and ambient, through jazz and neo-soul to experimental club and dreamy, distant jungle. The release will be available in physical format as bespoke, made-to-order lathe cuts featuring prints of the amazing hand-drawn artwork by Edinburgh based artist Ana Geissler and limited run DRIFT t-shirts.

Sempra's contribution is a lush vocal jungle cut, showcasing the sound the Bristol producer has worked hard to curate during a prolific last few years which has seen him release chilled-out tracks across the tempo range. Perfect for closing out your sets or for rinsing out at sunset while chilling on a beach, the breaky track should give a taste of what else is to come on the compilation!
