His fascination with music led to him learning multiple instruments and composition, eventually graduating with Masters degrees in Composition and Film Scoring from both Columbia University and New York University, and launching his career as a music director, composer, and producer. With just a few short years as a composer and producer he has had his works performed by world renowned ensembles such as the American Symphony and garnered the respect of industry legends such as Timbaland, illmind, DJKhalil, and Elite.

This week’s we have the 3rd installment of Jules’ Rarely series. Known for his tasteful, sophisticated instrumentation and musicality, these fifteen tracks contain a healthy blend of guitars, keys, synths and vocals woven through a musical world where Jules’ abilities with effects and editing elevate the character of each piece. BPM’s range from 73 to 147 with a wide variety of styles.

Since his first release with Kingsway in 2021 Jules continues to push himself into unexplored territory, and here on this third release the balance between familiar and foreign sounds is found effortlessly. We hope you find lots to work with!

Cisco Swank, Ambrose Akinmusire - You (feat. Ambrose Akinmusire)

St. Franck's second dazzling and meandering song, Balearic Dreams, logically follows the track "Somehow", released in late March 2023.

An invitation to the voyage of his first LP, "Cavalier Solaire".

Balearic Dreams is a fusion leading to a classic four on the floor, 80s synth pads, a sea of vocoder Franglais, and melodies driven by jangle guitars.

The 808 beats and catchy synth lines are reminiscent of Phoenix's latest album (or a very-now-old legendary robot duo), ensuring a nostalgic connection that only true Hi-Fi fans will be spinning during a lonely apéritif on sunset.

The inspiration even extends to the new experimentation Moog super filter that opens and closes like a DJ, mixing all these dreamlike atmospheres and complex technical productions (flanger, phasey drums, reverbs, and echo tape delays).

The result is a song that feels both supernatural and deeply rooted in St. Franck, his emotional core and his studio production delivery.

Finally, synths and added effects from Petit Fantôme (Juno 106, Vermona synth & Oto Machines) embellish the overall soundscape with lots of ear candies.
