Heidelberg raised, now Cologne based Turk Turkelton (@user-552360045) served us the next episode of "VISION OF". Together with @cyan85, he co-founded the label ''Habibi Bass'' two years ago. 
By delivering groovy basslines alongside mysterious electro breaks, Turk's productions and sets are taking everyone out of their comfort zone.

Big Honey is active in the Leipzig music scene since over 10 years and part of the @institut-fuer-zukunft booking team since a couple of months. While shaping the future sound of the club and absorbing ideas and inspiration, he has also been exploring new sounds and genres himself over the past few months. In his mix for the show he shows which sounds inspire him at the moment and showcasts a wide spectrum of different rhythms and broken beats.

Pev swiftly follows up the Pulse EP with another four tracks of sprightly club gear that continue to shape out his current areas of exploration in the studio. As ever, there are no fixed concepts or approaches - just an instinct for energising, inventive tracks taking in a range of tempos and rhythms.  

The first half of Pulse Modulation EP is marked out by linear rhythms which showcase the most techno aspects of Pev’s sound. ‘Pulse V’ is charged with the kind of alien synth lines which could only come from his studio, but also draw a line to the hi-tech soul of foundational Detroit techno. ‘Pulse VI’ has a starker, bleep-led sound pitched towards tougher dancefloors. 

’Pulse VII’ strips things back in comparison, leaning in on a blanket of bass and keeping the drums sparse and to the point - a study in soundsystem pressure.  Widening the spectrum of the record, ‘Pulse VIII’ sees Pev make a rare push up into 160+ territory - something normally reserved for his DJ sets. Swerving obvious break edits, his take on jungle is lean and crisp, delivering a fresh slant on the sound while maintaining the sharp focus of his current output.

Collecting records since 2012, Vtrenykah (@vtrenykah) has her focus on old school electronics of late 80s-mid 90s. Currently based in Sochi, Russia, where in 2020 she founded DOZ music project in a soviet wood processing factory alongside other local creators. For the last two years Ksenia lived and actively performed in Saint-Petersburg, always carrying a bag with records and sometimes an analogue mixer with herself. A vinyl and oldskool music enthusiast, Vtrenykah aims to keep the vinyl culture alive and to show how musically prolific the 90s era was.

As an avid contributer to Berlin's local music scene, she is most notably known as a host of local community radio @thfradio and member of @sonntagsinstitut collective. Flowing from atmospheric sounds to jungle and heavy bass, bb:fm showcases her versatile style in an eclectic mix meant to symbolize the transitional state between wakefulness and sleep.
