Selects number six is here and we are ecstatic to welcome Raz to the series. Raz has been on QUANTO’s radar for a while after impressing residents in Bucharest seeing him play.

Raz has been making waves in the underground scene with his unmistakable approach to minimal house, blending intricate sample work with rhythmic precision and a deep, hypnotic groove.

In recent years, Raz has made his mark playing across the country at venues such as Distrikt, The Goose, Star Lane and more recently a 6-hour set at No90 in Hackney. Outside of the UK, he’s played internationally in Bucharest and Sofia.

This mix demonstrates the broad tastes of QUANTO and sounds to expect at future parties.

As a certified sound engineer and co-founder of KitchenSync Records, his production work spans labels worldwide—delivering everything from deep techno to groove-laced / stripped down / minimalistic  - house & techno with a distinct, evolving sound. He has had releases on Zebra Rec, Wowie Music, EXPmental Records, Amaylia Records…

Whether performing under his own name or his experimental alias A \ S \ O \ M, Adam brings a dynamic, genre-fluid approach that keeps dance floors locked in and guessing. Deruta Records opens its catalog with “Dela Secu” ,a two- track EP from acclaimed Romanian producer Cezar Lazar. The EP stands out as a musical manifesto, challenging the techno-house scene’s drift into mainstream quicksand.

“Solo 2305” introduces the EP with orchestral strings and a polymetric woodwind theme anchored by a steady groove, crafting a soundscape where tension and release unfold with precision. The woodwinds’ evolving motif lends a lyrical contour that completes the arrangement. “Yaka Yaka” turns toward intricate syncopations, its rhythmic complexity enriched by subtle orchestral inflections. A central polyrhythm drives the track, heightening its tension while adding depth to the groove.

Mastered by Vlad Caia and cut to lacquer by Mike Grinser, the tracks are crafted for the dancefloor, shaped by Cezar’s signature lyrical motifs that define his standing in minimal and experimental techno.

This debut sets the tone for Deruta Records: boundary- blurring and unapologetically underground.
