The Low Frequency Orchestra was formed in Vienna by Angélica Castelló (recorders, devices), Thomas Grill (digital sounds), Maja Osojnik (recorders, voice, electronics) and Matija Schellander (double bass) who form the core of the ensemble. They have been joined by semi-permanent members Mathias Koch (drums) and Herwig Neugebauer (double bass) and have performed with guests including Martin Siewert (e-guitar, electronics), George Cremaschi (double bass), Susanna Gartmayer (bass clarinet), Bernhard Breuer (drums) and Michaela Grill (video). Sound design of all shows is supervised by Alfred Reiter.
The ensemble has played many shows of free non-idiomatic improvised music under the title "CUT" – the only rule being that the music should have the structural quality of compositions with an emphasis on rapidly changing sections. The CD "S" is a documentation of this concept. It has been recorded in a series of four live-recording sessions at the Echoraum Vienna in 2006 and released by Einklang Records in 2008.
In 2006 the Low Frequency Orchestra also collaborated with the media artist Martin Pichlmair to create an interpretation of artist Robert Lettner's graphic scores "Das Spiel vom Kommen und Gehen" A collaboration with Wolfgang Mitterer playing organ started in 2007 with a live recording at the Radiokulturhaus Vienna. This recording served as a framework for the eponymous main piece of the CD "Mole" (chmafu nocords, 2010). In 2011 the Low Frequency Orchestra will be featured on an upcoming CD with compositions by Maja Osojnik, named "Songs from Mortagapenija". For recordings of this project the ensemble has been joined by Maria Gstättner on bassoon, Michael Bruckner-Weinhuber on guitar and Burkhard Stangl on guitar and vibraphone.

"I think the best time for the proyect thats gonna be released from a hill that belongs to the Andes mountains it will be arround 6 o clock in the morning (chilean time) tha is the momen tah the sun rises from the east, So if it is possible to be schedule at that hour for the streaming... thats perfect!"

Joe Villablanca is one of the most peculiar (and most underground) musicians/artists in Chile. His music career started in Santiago in 1993, when he founded the experimental trio Maestro (in HR) together with college pals CTR (in HR) and the guy known as Nutria NN (also in HR). Around 1998 JV started to produce his solo musical projects where, like an alchemist, he managed to blend a wide spectrum of interests, characters, discourses, musical styles, and also many of the ideas he had developed as a visual artist. His influences range from Duchamp to Charly García to Violeta Parra, and his multiple skills have turned him into a sort of Renaissance man, a "Johannes fac totum", a "Jack of all trades": our Joe Villablanca.

Antonio Della Marina
is an Italian electronic composer and sound artist, who for several years has focused on working with sinusoids. Clearly influenced by the minimalist avant-garde of the American east coast in the sixties and seventies, his work exploits the physical properties of sounds and the use of microtonal tuning systems. Della Marina uses mathematical abstractions and custom built sound generators to shape his compositions which are offered in the form of sonorous sound sculptures. Since 1998 he has been active in sound art through concerts, lectures and sound installations, he has exposed his music in art galleries and international festivals all around Europe.

About ToBe Continued...
ToBe Continued is an original concert lasting 24 hours (from 00.00 hours to the midnight of March 24th), during which musicians from many parts of the World connected to this website and broadcast live their concerts. During this un-interrupted 24 hour marathon (ToBe Continued... in fact) each musician has at disposal a 30-minute window. Anybody can listen to ToBe Continued..., as long as an internet connection is available, by hitting PLAY button above (now disabled). This year project also includes several public listening points (bars, libraries, cultural centers, art galleries, shops, all listed on the website) that will broadcast the concert.



Domenica 24 marzo 2013, giornata Mondiale per la Lotta alla Tubercolosi, Stazione di Topolò e Officina Globale della salute hanno presentato ToBe Continued..., una maratona sonora di 24 ore.
Si tratta di un "concerto" dall'aspetto assai originale, della durata di 24 ore (dalle 00.00 del 24 marzo fino alle 24.00 del medesimo giorno), durante le quali diversi musicisti sparsi in vari punti del pianeta si collegano a questo sito internet per trasmettere, dal vivo, la loro musica. Il tutto in un flusso continuo, a staffetta. Ogni musicista ha a disposizione un tempo massimo di 30 minuti.
ToBe Continued..., evidente l'acronimo TBC, è ascoltabile in diretta in ogni parte del mondo, naturalmente ove ci sia internet, semplicemente da questo sito www.stazioneditopolo.it.
Il progetto include anche dei "punti d'ascolto" dove la musica viene diffusa in diretta: bar, mediateche, centri culturali, gallerie d'arte, negozi, case private.
