I sit inside the screen inside the room — inside the hum,
each pixel rehearsing a version of me that flickers —
time-lapse roses opening in fast-forward, then rewinding to a seed.
The laugh track is a swarm of moths beating at the lamp of memory;
credits roll backward, naming my ghosts as executive producers.
Doors opening onto seasons that dissolve like wet chalk.
Somewhere a remote pauses the storm before it speaks my name

Inside the Screen Inside the Room

Story:

Romantic and sickly-sweet, that's it! What do I need to tell you more about a poor but well-behaved boy falling in love with the sheltered princess of the kingdom. An unimaginable relation? Probably! But the boy moves heaven and earth to get what he's striving for.


Music:

Yes, it's very cliché. A sweeping 3/4 time signature and broad string harmonies are the key ingredients of this track. A bright and positive motif in C major is established but soon followed by a much faster, playful part in 4/4.

This underscores a scene of the two protagonists frolicing around, running over meadows and playing hide-and-seek. The piece continues with a very soft and contemplative part, a variation of the theme.

It rises in dynamics in a transition with brass and woodwinds and turns with a key change into a grand horn melody with string and trombone accompaniment. Still, a bit of melancholism sustains, but it is soon flushed away by the whole orchestra including tubular bells.

Now, a very majestic and solemn vibe is present, enforced by a choir. At the end the track returns to a small and intimate sound with a final cadence.

I started composing in year 1991, with a Commodore Amiga computer. I released my works under the alias of Stun during that period, while being moderately active in the italian Amiga demoscene.
With time my setup evolved with more powerful computers and musical instruments. I also learned to play the electric guitar and the piano, and studied music theory.
