Second compilation of a “This Is How We Break…” series focused on breaks and bass music to enlighten our emerging electronic scene from France and abroad.

Based on the free interpretation of the ‘breakbeat’ genre, the breadcrumb trail of this second compilation is the theme “from happy to dark” (or the other way) to celebrate the fluctuation of emotions whether positive or negative. Over-cultivated positivism implies the rejection and the covering up of negative emotions… This compilation is here to reminds you to live fully your emotions and only think about what’s best for you. It’s OK not to always look on the bright side of things. Be gentle to yourself.

Wanderings through Armenia brought us DJ and producer Dave N.A. The 4 tracks on his ‘Altura EP’ hover between jungle and deconstructed club. They are made up of unassuming, sharply cut breaks with a gently nostalgic feel. 

The Yerevan-based artist evokes a frantic, supple & glitchy attitude reminiscent of early jungle influences, and drenches it in a lush sound palette full of vivid sound effects.

For the occasion, 'Pulse' and 'Novox' were co-produced with no•id's own freq444. The DJ’s join forces around a sultry groove: it goes down smooth as cocoa on a freezing winter’s day.

Vina Konda steps up on the Turin-label Pho Bho Records with five track EP 'The Exit Screen Leads Nowhere'. The work "tries to bring you in the complex contradiction of the screen attraction. Between loss & profit, the dilated time now allows you to explore a world between reality and virtuality. Like an open gate between somewhere and nowhere."
