Our friends at Deviant Disco are back with a four tracker 12" of stunning french disco in a wide range of styles : from 80's afrobeat to underground canadian cosmic groove, here is another bullet from the parisian gang ! The four cuts are selected by David Chouferbad & Fred Serendip.
Here is the b1, a cool edit of Jean-Michel Gascuel "Dominus" originally released in 1984. This French composer who collaborated with Pierre Schaeffer was also a great lyricist working for the likes of Vivian Vee or Suzy Andrews, and a fashion designer. With its Latin touch, this track is a little UFO standing out of the rest of his French productions, so let us be blessed by Dominus Domine Dominarum.

New Fabric resident Anna Wall and production partner Corbi, head of Fina Records, rummage through dusty ’90s nostalgia for their ‘DATs in the Attic’ EP, twisting UK hardcore heritage through the prism of contemporary house and breakbeat. The record as a whole is worth checking out, including the fantastic remix by Escape Earth in which we wheeled out in the second hour of our October Balamii show.

We premiere, ‘DAT 1’ which flaunts it's classic drum break of grooves amid its dry ice shrouded swirl of synth lines, with vocal exaltations, exhalations and exclamations appearing and disappearing into the foggy, sweaty haze.
