Eddie “TBOE” Blanco wears many hats while layering all of them ever so eloquently. He’s a song writer, producer, artist, and serial entrepreneur with a focus on community outreach; bringing us to his name. TBOE is an acronym for “The Beginnings Over Everything”; showing how you can not forget your roots or your beginnings because they make up who you are. Growing up in the Soundview/Watson sections of The Bronx, NY he’s no stranger to communities in need of help to uplift the future of the youth. He’s also spent over 5 years, throughout his life, in the Villa Juana section of the Dominican Republic which lies in the lower portion of Santo Domingo. Blanco has been making music since the age of 8. By the age of 12 he was recording himself using GarageBand on DJ CLSMOOTH’s iMac. Soon after by 17 he’d already performed for over 300 people at The College of Maynooth in Ireland and various venues throughout NYC including Blackthorn 51, The Paper Box and many more. Fast forward to Spring of 2017, the start of The Beginnings Tour that took the music to another level. Starting in Toronto and spanning to Miami, LA (x2), Pasadena, Austin, Dallas (x3) and ending off the tour at Plush 101 Lounge in the Bronx, NY.
