New Jersey's finest returns to Ovum with the much anticipated follow up to his hugely successful and widely supported 2014 „Get Deep“ EP, a release that saw Harry return to his roots and deliver, with the title track, a true festival and Ibiza House anthem. Aquarium and What What, the latest double-header from Romero, seeks to carry on from where his previous Ovum outing left off...
With its echoing sax and signature snappy percussion, Aquarium leads the release with its wonderful balaeric mood and flavour. Whilst on the flip, What What taps into his techier trade, as Harry twists and tweaks in a full on dark room frenzy, evoking memories of classic his Sondos moments.

Simon Kidzoo - Spaceship To Mars

After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.

Igniting the dancefloor with "Red“, the duo builds immediate intensity through a chunky house groove, warbling bassline and official vocal clearance of Tweet feat. Missy Elliott - "Oooops (Oh My)". Sweet harmonious chord sequences slowly enter and prepare the stage for round two as they deliver one last thunderous strike.

In "Together", the duo drop their signature slamming house groove around a set of smooth chordal progressions. "Together“ features the beautiful voice of GEORGIA CECILLE, her deep and soulful vocals burst into life and effortlessly takes the track and you away.

Dance music’s prolific Italian-born London-based sharpshooter Riva Starr set to release fourth artist album Curveballs via Adam Beyer’s revered Truesoul Records on 26 October, alongside a 4-track sampler to precede the LP on 21 September.

Riva Starr has been shaking up the world of dance music with his eclectic and unpredictable palette of sounds and styles for over a decade. Over the years, he has racked up numerous accolades and achievements including releasing 3 acclaimed albums (If Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade in 2010, Hand In Hand in 2013 and Definition of Sound in 2016), having a myriad of single/EP releases on some of dance music’s most established labels (Snatch! Records, Hot Creations, Relief, Crosstown Rebels, Dirtybird) and amassing an impressive remix resume of artists including; Audion, Groove Armada, Dennis Ferrer, Usher, Estelle, London Grammar, Fatboy Slim, Reboot and David Morales.  

With all of this success and experience under his belt, the time has come for the talented Italian to deliver his much awaited fourth long-player, Curveballs – comprising of 12 stellar tracks inspired by current club sounds and old school music elements, driven by Starr’s endeavor to produce music that stands the test of time.

The LP’s striking opener, ‘Always’ gets things underway and sets the tone with its powerful house groove, warm chord stabs and divine soulful vocal courtesy of legendary house diva Jocelyn Brown. Other highlights include, the infectious breakbeat workout ‘Britcoin’, the techy electro-tinged ‘Fresh’ and the experimental synth-driven Techno gem ‘AnalHog’. The album concludes with 3 fine cuts in the form of the bass heavy TR-909 laden ‘Ride’, the funk-fueled house groover ‘Mantra (Early In The Morning)’ and an exclusive deep-house-esque Dub version of ‘Give Me Love’ to round off yet another essential long-player from one of dance music’s much-loved artists.

Following up his recent Lucky EP on Moon Harbour and hot single ‘Push It Up’ on Kaluki, UK producer Eli Brown has delivered his 3-track EP, titled ‘Another Dimension’, on Solardo’s SOLA label.

Set to drop on 25th January, the EP showcases Eli Brown’s rugged beats through title-track ‘Another Dimension’ and the sinister sounds of ‘Low End Theory’.
