Come On Over

Milan-based artist Davide Mentesana makes his Unnamed & Unknown debut with an impressive four-track EP - Do You Love.

Following releases on Ibiza Talents, 12+1, Kubbo Records, Cocoa and many more, Milan native Davide Mentesana touches down on Unnamed & Unknown for his label debut with four striking original cuts on his ‘Do You Love’ EP.

‘Do You Love’ kicks off the release with bumpy grooves and swinging melodies. Its chugging drum work and skipping hat sequences pave the way for a catchy bassline, funky melodic licks and a soulful vocal hook from start to finish. 

‘Give My Money’ comes next, bringing more bouncing drums and heaps of movement. Its bed of tonal percussion and punchy kicks combine shuffling hats and vox stabs whilst swirling melodies and creative sampling pump life into the mix.  

‘Space Miami’ cuts a rolling Tech House line with moody melodies and bags of personality. Its percussive-driven mix of drum elements build a strong base for a chorus of harmonies to ride over the top alongside another exquisite vocal arrangement. 

‘Acid Moove’ dives back into the basement vibes with chunky drums and swinging hat grooves from the outset. Another catchy bassline drives the track forwards alongside an array of analogue components whilst velvety pads and a nostalgic vocal topline seal the deal.

Nottingham's premier underground event brand and label TRIPPIN Records return with their sixth release from Bari based Daniele Allegrezza, delivering an irresistble three track EP set to make a lasting impression.

'R0mantic' is a catchy number, underpinned by a chunky and bumpy bassline combined with an infectious guitar chord pattern, giving it a funky 80s feel and topped off with some snare drums building to an almight crescendo.

'Come Over' starts with a heavier bassline, skippy drum patterns and stabs, teasing in some sexy vocal cuts as the track progresses, building the groove and vocals throughout. A perfect afterhours groover.

'Game Times' oozes attitude from the get go, a groovy bassline married to some funky drum patterns finished off with a outrageous vocal cut which builds throughout the track. A heavy creeper suitable at anytime of day or night.

Following a huge release that smashed the charts, Paluma makes a triumphant return to TBX Records with the amazing 'THIS MC' EP, which includes two original tracks. The title track's foundation is a powerful bassline that blends flawlessly with a technical drum rhythm and authentic hip-hop vocals to create an incredibly danceable masterpiece. Based on the same key components as the previous track, 'WTF' perfectly complements it. Hip-hop vocals, a groovy bassline, and a mesmerizing rhythm combine to provide very exciting vibe. Enjoy!
