Manchester’s AJ Christou is back on Hot Creations with ‘Bang Bang’, his follow-up to 2023’s ‘Babaloop’ EP, and it’s a release that reinforces why he’s been in such high demand over recent years. With two original cuts and a charged remix from Italian duo ItaloBros, the package captures the depth, drive, and distinct groove that have defined AJ’s rise. Following up on his debut appearance on sister imprint Paradise Music last year alongside A-Trak, this latest release sees him step further into the spotlight on Jamie Jones’ flagship label. 

Title track ‘Bang Bang’ leads with crisp percussion, slinky grooves, and a hook that’s been igniting AJ’s sets worldwide. “‘Bang Bang has been a staple in my sets for well over a year. Happy to finally share it with the world,” he explains. On the flip, ‘EM District’ brings a deeper, hypnotic energy with trippy textures and rolling swing designed for locked-in late-night moments. Closing things out, ItaloBros mark their own return to the label and step in to rework the title track, turning the original into a hard-grooving, club-ready bomb that perfectly balances intensity with playful energy. 

Since his breakout on The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz label, AJ Christou has built a discography that spans Crosstown Rebels to Fool’s Gold Records, and has also established his own imprints, V-House Sound and Celesta Recordings. With global highlights from The Warehouse Project to Ibiza institutions in Amnesia, Hï, and Ushuaïa, he continues to shape the house, minimal, and techno landscape with a sound that’s his own: groove-driven, refined, and dynamic.

An established name within Europe’s tech-house and techno landscape, Fer BR continues to impress with standout releases on respected imprints such as MÜSE, Deeperfect, Rawthentic, and COCO. His work as A&R for Paco Osuna’s Mindshake and collaborations under Project00 have cemented him as one of Spain’s most creative exports, and here he showcases his talent once more - backed by a standout remix from UK favourite Iglesias, following releases on Solid Grooves, Hottrax, COCO,
Mindshake and more. 

The title track ‘Never Sax Enough’ is a brooding, groove-driven workout layered with a snaking, sultry sax motif and crisp, punchy backbeat. Iglesias takes things deeper with a pumping rework, fusing a bumping bassline and crisp, bleeping synths into a peak-time weapon - most recently sparking a viral moment during Ilario Alicante’s b2b with Marco Carola at Music On. ‘Control Freak’ ups the ante, taking a more hypnotic turn with driving percussive rhythm and sharp, gritty textures, fusing reverb-heavy vocals and cosmic keys to deliver a cut that commands maximum intensity late into the night. With ‘Never Sax Enough’, Fer BR showcases his knack for crafting magnetic, groove-led sounds that capture both elegance and intensity, cementing the EP as a key release as we return to club season.
