We are happy to welcome back Arkady Antsyrev with a fresh new 4-track EP. Arkady Antsyrev is a talented and promising sound producer. In the atmosphere of works this sound producer have а distinction from others artists. The presence of his sound evolved drum tracks, live instruments (and solo), as well as synthesizers, which were used in the distant 80s and 70s, opening a new and modern sound, which is by far the most relevant and appropriate for sound in the underground industry.

Fire burns even in cosmic space, and La Zic's 6th digital instalment is a testament to this. West Coast vibes all the way from LA with upcoming DJ/producer Justin Vilhauer (Deeperfect, Cyclic), who joins the label entourage with the titled 'Twin Flame' EP. This one sees the LA-based talent teaming up with fellow Californian artist Will Collins for the lead track, a rampant, gritty tune that fuses techy rhythmic patterns with that late-nate energy while keeping things deep and melodic for his two solo works 'Trust On The Line' and 'Good Love' filled with spacey synths, and silk-bodied vocals. On the remix duties, Argentinian newcomer Obeid (Tamango Records) jumps on board, adding new fuel to 'Twin Flame' - making the track a pure club rocker with twisted vocals and nasty riddims.

Techfui returns with another stand out 12” this summer as label founder Salah Sadeq delivers a refined remix package of the sought after “Hibiki Awa” a track which was initially released four years ago with studio companion Rashed Al Dhaen on their “Locus” release. A partnership that was built during covid restrictions, clicking directly when starting to jam, all whilst enjoying the “Hibiki Awa” Japanese whisky during the extended sessions. 

The limited, and coloured wax will feature the track receiving a new lease of life from Romanian producer Techu, the ever prolific Tolga Fidan with two refreshing takes, and Rashed himself steps in for a reshape of the original. Four meandering cuts exploring a multitude of textures ready to make an impression on your record bag. The record also comes in a unique sleeve design from Georgian artist NUMB, and the campaign will also feature a t- shirt design on Everpress seeing the artists collaborate further. 

The opening remix is from the maestro, Techu. His attention to detail when composing music has seen him continue to blossom in recent times. His take on “Hibiki Awa” is fuelled upon a killer elasticated groove, punchy as it continues to evolve. The A2 is Rashad Al Daen’s eccentric take on the original, teasing you down a path of wonky curiosity, a hypnotic yet swung encounter looking to light up floors this summer. 

The B side has been claimed by Tolga Fidan, as he provides two assortments of “Hibiki Awa”. Tolga kicks off with his enormous B1 version, crammed full of energy, and a chugging sub heavy bass. This sees the release lean in a different direction, as we encounter some rave energy from Turkish producer Tolga Fidan. Still maintaining the mesmerising energy of its predecessors. Last but not least is Fidan’s “Refresh Remix”, a much more subtle affair as he presents a dreamy soundscape, ethereal melt in your mind textures work their way around the crispy drum patterns. 

For the tastemakers amongst us, it is great news that the Techfui imprint continues to carry the torch, presenting sleek and classy house music for the dance floor. After many years of producing music together in Bahrain and releasing music, four years on we get to appreciate the masterpiece track once more with this heavy hitting, and eclectic remix package.
