I was more than honoured to have been invited to Dj for MCA day LONDON. My history with DJ'ing has deeply connected roots to the hip hop family tree with gigs alongside Run DMC , De La Soul , Cypress Hill, The Zulu Nation, Guru, Arthur Baker, Curtis Blow, Dizzee Rascal and The Freestylers to mention a few. 

I would have LOVED to have been on the same stage as The Beastie Boys, for me the ultimate band representing teenage rebellion with their raw lyrics, incredible fashion style and explosive stage shows. Sadly that won't happen. 

So when Sure Shot and Beastie Revolution reached out and asked me to reprazent and celebrate the life of Adam Yauch (MCA) and The Beastie Boys .. I was more than stoked!

TBX has been in the DJ industry for a huge 33 years and has appeared on line-ups with some of the worlds biggest and most inspirational pioneers including De La Soul, Fat Boy Slim, Kurtis Blow, Guru, Cypress Hill, DJ Yoda and Run DMC. With appearaces at some of the UKS best clubs Ministry, Meraki , Cable and Herbal, to warehouses of East London. Ibiza Rocks and the Kanya sunset bar in Ibiza aswell as huge forest stages on beautiful mountains for Snowbombing Festival , Board - X, The British Snowboard Champs. The Burton European Open and many appearances at huge sporting events , imcluding The NFL at Wembley Stadium , The Rugby World Cup, The BMX World Champs or The tennis FED cup. TBX isn’t fussy about location, it could be a broom cupboard so long as the crowd is on for the party. Musical stylings gone mad?Or just excellent crowd reading skills and a talent for bumping the party?
