World Ends Everyone Dies (feat. Paul Leary)

Moving Into Tucson is basically the side effect of the COVID epidemic. Why, you will ask. Well for the simple reason that the band was formed during the pandemic. Can you call Moving Into Tucson a band? Well, yes as in, it's a band, with a singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer etc. But also no because it's not a band as usual. Band members do not come from the same city or even country, but from different parts of the world. When the world was in lock-down and many were forced to stay at home, there wasn't much left for musicians to do other than work from home. But, how? And better, with whom? Like for many, Zoom video brought a solution. Fortunately, we live in an advanced digital world and a lot is possible without necessarily having to be somewhere. Only someone who arranges it. This is where the label TCBYML, the label of the various artists in the band Moving Into Tucson, stepped in.  

Result, twenty songs composed over a period of 18 months. These have now been brought together, mixed, mastered and provided with artwork. In 2023, five of them will be released as singles and together with eight more songs will form the album "Distraction" that will see the light on November 24 of this year. A great initiative that may be followed up in 2024. Who's to say.  

Moving Into Tucson's music is comparable to that of the early 90's. The sound that all who participated could very much agree on. Moving Into Tucson is therefore for fans of: REM, Lemonheads, Sugar, The Posies, Buffalo Tom, Teenage Fanclub and the Counting Crows but also reminiscent to bands as U2 or The Police. Recognizable indie pop rock, sometimes dark, sometimes mysterious, or vague, but with depth in the music and certainly in the lyrics.

HALF CAB has its roots in punk and hardcore music. With their new songs the band is ready to engage a wider audience without losing their underground ethos. The result is music that is said to have "the energy of punk and the catchiness of pop". 

HALF CAB coming from The Hague, Netherlands is set to release their new EP in May 2024. Pete Maher, UK’s No1 independent mastering engineer gives the songs the power they deserve. Upfront, three songs from the EP will be released as singles. 

First single Rearview is about looking back on things in life. “It all looks simple in the rearview” is the recurring phrase in the song, and somewhat of a summary idea of the EP. Don't worry too much about the past, but focus on the future, no matter how dark and hopeless it may seem.

Eckhardt And The House has developed towards a more uptempo and danceable indie sound. The band has been taking elements from pop to avant-garde to disco-funk and twisted it all up into a signature sound with wild experimentation and disregard for the norm. 

With this eleventh single, Eckhardt And The House has a serious shot at proving they are the new Dutch live sensation. Being their most energetic song to date, Put Me In A Cape will undoubtedly be the highlight of their upcoming live-shows. Imagine this eight-piece band rampaging the stage...

Eckhardt And The House is the project by producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, dramatist and actor Rik Elstgeest from Amsterdam. Rik is known from his previous bands Kopna Kopna and Alamo Race Track, as well as being composer and producer for Zazi. Together with Gerry Arling (of Arling & Cameron fame) and Bo Koek he is the core of Dutch electropop surprise Mass Electric.

With so far ten singles and an album under their belt the current play count on Spotify is 1.5 Million streams. The band scored iTunes chart positions in ten European countries plus Turkey, Brazil, South Africa and Japan, Spotify charts in The Netherlands, France, Italy and Turkey plus airplay in six European countries and the US. Following the 2017 debut single ‘Invisible Lines’ - which Steve Lamacq labelled “entrancing” on BBC 6Music, and Tom Robinson called a “three-and-a-half-minute epic” on the same station - came the 2018 Carousel Clouds debut long-player Tales of Coincidence, an album recorded with three bassists, and yet without a note of bass played throughout the record... 

On ‘Grace (Look No Further)’, the Salford band echo the lyrical theme in the music, changing moods sweeping through its near-200 seconds, their signature haunting shoegaze-psych sound intact.

Forthcoming single ‘Grace (Look No Further)’ is taken from Tales of Coincidence, a tale being vocalist Neil Meehan describes as one of: “Repetition, monotony, hope and euphoria. We tried to match the lyrics to the music, to the extent that an actual heartbeat is used for they rhythm at one stage.”
