Back in August 1990, on a warm summer night, Union Morbide stepped into the studio to record Use Of Wondering for the legendary punk compilation 11 Ways To Get Out. Tracked live to 8-track tape in a single take — with just one guitar overdub — it was raw, fast, and straight from the heart. No frills, no polish, just pure punk energy.

Now, 35 years later, the original vinyl has been lovingly digitized, remixed, and remastered using modern tools — without sacrificing an ounce of the grit or authenticity that made the song what it was. The result? A blast from the past that hits harder than ever.

Union Morbide says:
"It’s always fun to hear your own music again — even more so when you get the chance to rework it with today’s technology. Still, we made sure to keep everything exactly the way it should be. Even the cover art was created to feel like a real single from that late ’80s/early ’90s era.”

Union Morbide was a relentless force in the European punk and hardcore scene from 1985 to 1995. Often labeled a squatters band — and proudly so — their sound blended raw energy, political urgency, and DIY spirit into a decade-long rampage of noise and resistance.

During their ten-year run, Union Morbide released a steady stream of music across LPs, CDs, tapes, and compilations — each one a snapshot of the time, the struggle, and the scene. They played close to 1,000 shows across Europe, sharing stages with countless legendary bands in squats, clubs, festivals, and any space that welcomed loud, uncompromising music.

More than a band, Union Morbide was a movement. A shout from the underground — fast, fierce, and unforgettable.
