The Cloudy Enigma is the music of Cris Nelson who is working from just outside Guildford in the Surrey Hills, Inspired and influenced by many different musicians and bands. 
The music is intended to sound progressive in as much as it attempts adapt key elements of different genres with the intention of creating an ambient soundscape. 

Currently working on writing new songs for an upcoming EP, titled "These Are Not The Facts".
The EP will be 5 songs, inspired by the things in life we don't see, and really should.
The EP is hopefully going to be released in September 2015. 

After several years drumming for Progressive Metal band "hAND", a hiatus from music took effect until July 2014 when The Cloudy Enigma was conceived. The idea was to create electronic music with an ambient trip hop sound. 
In November 2014, The Cloud Enigma's first EP "Heights" was released as a free download on Soundcloud until January 2015. It is still available to stream on Soundcloud. 
The EP's animus for the track was the talks of Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Throughout 2014 until February 2015, The Cloudy Enigma performed around Scarborough, North Yorkshire with electronic act "Splitscreen" and with Reggae band "Sofajunkies"
Having relocated to The Surrey Hills, the next priority is the new EP.
