His footsteps seemed to hush the night as he made his way toward the Jade River. At the edge of the river, he looked at his goldfish one last time. The moon shone above so even in the darkness of the night, the fish seemed to burn a bright orange. Its black eyes sparkled at him. “I’m sorry I can’t keep you,” he whispered. “I hope you will be all right in the river.” And with those words, he emptied the bowl into the water. For a moment the fish seemed shocked and was still, like a flickering flame on a match. Then it wiggled in the water and swam in circles, a joyful fire twirling in the water. Unja’s looking for the most beautiful skies up, where the mountains meet. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can give you the story of the universe. 100 years ago the world lived in chaos. Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Making this compilation was a leap into the void, a mixture of psychic automatism and cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) that ended with a very free, authentic and very fresh result, with the wonder of the unexpected, including very purely electronic songs, with ideas of techno and even psy trance, like other more tropical ones with psychedelic cumbia, of course others more pop and the others, those that are usually there in our music, the ones totally trippy.

Using different approaches like shapes, colors and symbols, Guaraci induces reflections about life, symbology and archetypes.

In this life he was born in São Paulo, and has 23 solar cycles of existence in planet earth.

Para el pueblo Mapuche, la llegada del verano o WALÜNG significa el comienzo de tiempos de abundancia, donde el sol se mantiene más tiempo en el cielo, llegan los frutos, maduran los cereales y la flora y fauna se fecunda.

Nosotros como Tchamma Yapu celebramos también la llegada de este WALÜNG, que en un año con un post eclipse representa mucho más, ya que al mismo tiempo tenemos la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.

Un momento preciso en el espacio tiempo para reunir a grandes exponentes y artistas emergentes del downtempo Chileno, para conformar este WALÜNG y marcar la llegada de tiempos mejores para todos juntos.

 For our native peoples, the seasonal changes are very important. For the Mapuche people, the arrival of summer or WALÜNG means the beginning of times of abundance, where the sun stays longer in the sky, the fruits arrive, the cereals ripen and the flora and fauna are fertilized.

We as Tchamma Yapu also celebrate the arrival of this WALÜNG, which is a year with a post-eclipse represents much more, since at the same time we have the triple conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto that gives way to the new age of Aquarius, called the time of the new humanity that we all await.


A precise moment in space-time to bring together great exponents and emerging artists of the Chilean downtempo, to form this WALÜNG and mark the arrival of better times for all together.
