Hey guys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, I'm really glad that so many of you like this ! Every week 4-6 people share this recording of mine, and many more people give me a "like" (without sharing).  This feels great, thank you !   

If you - on top of this - would also consider giving me (sending me) 1 dollar, or even a dime, a quarter... only a tiny little amount that you feel comfortable with... the change that you would give to a homeless person on the street... then I could continue to make a living as a musician. Nothing is "too small" !!! 

Because , you know, when I must do "something else" to pay the bills (something that I do only for the money, no vocation whatsoever), then this takes away my precious (and limited) Time, and during the hours of this type of "survival work"  I obviously cannot practice, I cannot make new recordings, cannot prepare the projects in my head or on the computer, cannot fix a cable, etc.   After work I'm tired,  for even trying to sit down with my instruments... I just take a shower, eat something, sleep... and the next day it starts over.  Which is totally normal for so many of you - we both know what hard work is!  But the day consists of only 24 hours for me as well.  Then some of you may 'suggest' "okay, then don't sleep so much  ;-) " ! As if I'd be a robot.. but I'm a human being.  You know, the nature of artistic creation is such, that it needs a tranquil and well-rested mind - and the same is true, for instance, when I drive a car, or when I fly an aircraft.  If I try to live 2-3 lives at the same time, sooner or later something (or someone) would suffer... 

Anyway, I'm asking  EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU who tends to like this recording of mine, to send me at least a ridiculously small amount.  I mean, is 1 dollar too much to ask?  No worries, then please send me 50 cents !  If  1000 people would send me three or four dollars  each month, I could spend all my time with what I REALLY want to do - for instance continuing the production of this recording, the Summer, then Autumn/Fall... And I have many (MANY !) more project ideas in my head. But my beautiful instrument often just rests at home while I have to do "something else"...

World Premiere of one of the most famous piano pieces by Mozart arranged for piano and orchestra. The Turkish March (Rondo alla Turca) was originally composed for solo piano in 1783 by W. A. Mozart and it is the final movement of his Piano Sonata N. 11 in A minor.

230 years later for the first time was premiered the version for Piano & Orchestra in the arrangement by Georgii Cherkin. This video represents the live event and was highly acclaimed by the public. The style of the orchestration is however a little bit more romantic while the piano part remains original. The melodical lines in the orchestra are more in the style of Tchaikovsky than Mozart, but the concept of the piece is strictly followed. Let's say that this is a modern version of the Turkish March enhanced with the rich orchestral sound. I put a lot of love when I did this arrangement with the intention to add more beauty and expression to this already famous piano piece and I hope that I succeeded and that people will really like it.

I am a concert pianist and composer. Since young age I feel a great passion of the symphonic sound. During the years I have performed hundred times many difficult and famous piano concertos for piano and orchestra. I did many arrangements of classical music for piano and orchestra, including the Moonlight sonata by Beethoven, The Seasons by Tchaikovsky, Claire de Lune by Debussy and film music like Harry Potter theme, Imperial March and Yoda theme from Star Wars, The Pirates of the Caribbean and more than 100 other arrangements. I have recently composed the Galactic Concerto for Piano and Orchestra premiered in 2023.
