I was blessed to get to play with the Famous Jazz Orchestra in the summer of 2016. The great Vaughn Wiester let me solo with the band on his swingin' arrangement of Lil Hardin's, "Struttin' With Some Barbecue." It is a joyful and humbling experience to play with the best jazz cats in town!

Exploration Cue 1

Hello,  I am Tim Claubaugh Jr. born and raised in Sandusky Ohio and I am a media composer.  I have been playing the piano since I was 5 and right out of high school I joined the Navy for 4 years.  Ever since I was a kid music soundtracks always caught my ear and many times I only paid attention to the music.  My father "Tim Claubaugh Sr." is the reason why I am in music at all and he raised me listening to the legends such as Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Brahms, Mahler, ect.  I am currently a senior at Capital University getting my Bachelors degree in music composition and technology.  Right now I am building my website and soon it will be published which will further showcase what else I have done.  So far I have written music for a few independent films, game trailers, weddings, and radio show spots.  I absolutely love what I do and if i am lucky enough to turn composing into a career then I will never work another day in my life.  Hope you enjoy the music I post and I look forward to hearing all of yours.
