Lower West Side’s lyrics were half written in Jordan, and half written in Australia several years later; both poems came together last year when I heard Veesh's initial beat. Fleeting experiences full of chemistry are cool but messy. The novelty of them stays with you and this is a song about processing those moments honestly, navigating them and leaving them as they are without turning back. It's a beautiful and gritty account of leaving memories as they are.
