"French musicians Alban Mercier(Officium) and Eric Desjeux (Tzii) team up after years of friendship for a 9-tracks collaborative album that will be out on OKVLT. The duo’s first recording attempt is a highly evocative and melancholic album based on the pair personal archives, techniques and souvenirs. A collection of twisted voices, haunting synths and percussions combining Tzii’s composition skills with Officium’s field recordings, chant and bleak approch of sound.
“WATCHING MYSELF FORGET WITH NO RESISTANCE” is an intimate research on perception, memory and inward visions : sometimes violent, yet poetic and definitely elegiacal. "

das mundstück bestand aus bambus und kork, einem blatt aus verpackungsplastik und einer umwickelten, einfachen schnur zum fixieren [der prototyp wurde vom künstler und instrumentenbauer hermann lend entwickelt. ich habe dann meine eigene variante konstruiert].
