Tyler Morgan Clarke, AKA Tea seas AKA, Charles Boswell III is a Bellingham based guitar playing clarinetist and composer from Seattle, Washington. His influences over the years in somewhat chronological order are Willie Nelson, Vivaldi, Abbey Road, Duane Allman, Black Sabbath, Leo Kottke, Angelo Badalementi, Ry Cooder, John Zorn's Electric and Acoustic Masadas, Rosalia de Souza, Igor Stravinski, Tortise, Teddy Thompson, Jamie Saft, Dave Douglas, and Danny Gatton.

Past groups include Tea Seas Trio, Smokey the Cat, The Binge, Lake City Orchestra, Captain Seahorse:Revenge Upon Humanity, The Yogoman Burning Band, The T and A Combo, Lumpkins, and the Matt Peters Trio.  

He has opened for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Skerik's Bandalabra, Aphrodesia, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Lyrics Born, Mike Dillon Band, the Merchants of Moonshine, Flowmotion, The Apollo Trio, ATMA, Robin Holcomb, and others.

Current projects include the CDC TRio with Hammond organist Joe Doria and drummer Kevin Chryst, both fellow Seattle natives.  He also plays regularly around the Pacific Northwest with the BRIAN HILLMAN BAND, an original Soul and funky Rhythm and Blues sextet.

An inveterate sitter inner, Tyler has guested on guitar with The Suffering Fuckheads, Dose, The Pimps of Joytime, McTuff, Monktail Creative Music Concern, Andy Coe Band, Basement Basics, Arisawkadoria, Goody Bag, Aphrodesia, and on clarinet with Garaj Mahal.




TEA SEAS Trio is on hiatus while Aaron is playing bass at the Mandarin Orient Hotel in Hong Kong.- Tyler Clarke and friends.  ACID FOLK JAZZ for every occasion.  We are from Seattle, Washington and reside in Bellingham, WA.  T.C. plays guitars, clarinets, sings,arps, emus, mandolin, keys, magnets.  Aaron Harmonson plays upright and electric bass, Moogs, wurlitzer, rhodes and cello.  Kevin Chryst plays drums, percussion and occasionally talks to the crowd.   We are a live amalgamation of my solo album TEA SEAS and play anything from 60s cinema sountracks to John Zorn Israeli surf jazz to original progressive compositions.
