Featuring intricate folk melodies on Banjo and Harp, Magnolia depicts the walk home after the night before. 

A step away from previous singles, this song plays with darker themes and a new direction sonically for Teah Lewis and band. The core of this song was recorded live at Fox Den studios in Sheffield with Teah on vocals and guitar and two emerging folk musicians Kate Griffin on Banjo (Mishra) and Manon McCoy on Harp. The added production then follows the emotional journey of the song building to a crescendo of glassy textures, horn, bass, drums and multi-layered backing vocals.

Magnolia

Lighthouse keeper is a song for the end of summer. It's about choosing to journey on with a relationship even when it feels like the world is throwing everything at it.

A Good Time

All of the tracks I arranged and composed as Musical Director for Sheffield University Theatre Company in their production of 'The Snow Queen'. The two tracks "Discovering Nieve's love for Kai" and "Fixing the mirror" were composed by myself for the show, and I arranged and recorded (with a sound team) the other tracks included in the album.
