Talented production duo Paul C & Paolo Martini bring their Italian flavour to the dancefloor as they are warmly welcomed back on Hot Creations with ‘Pinball’.

Title track ‘Pinball’ hits with a solid bassline, intricate percussion and a dynamic ghetto style vocal. On the flip ‘Woom’ works up a cunning groove, spell-binding melody and strong synths build towards an epic breakdown. Both tracks emulate Paul C & Paolo Martini’s distinctive sound and are primed for bringing heat to the night.

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Paul C & Paolo Martini are 2 of the hottest Italians producers around. As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo Martini was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, Twisted, Universal and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D'Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid '90's and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels.

From 2010 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names but have also seen their tracks & remixes feature on labels such Hot Creations, Cecille, 8Bit, Moon Harbour, Noir, Gruuv, Terminal M, Exploited and Bedrock amongst many others.

Tearable Techno Radio Episode #2

Hi Guys,

It's been a lot of fun trying to improve since the first episode which was a mess if you look at all the different styles mixed together.

I took some time, but I organized all my music into a coded system. Every track has a specific code with style of music, energy level and key.  For example when I feel that a track has a drumcode thing going and is very high on energy in key E-major it will receive the code DCM12B. 

I also played around with many setups for recording. Eventually I decided to go with my friends advice and use the old Hercules MK4 since it has an okay soundcard. The output is low. But more on the setup next time around. 

Have fun listening and remember. It's Tearable Techno, because we are learning. Bare with us :)

Estroe Invites FEB 2016 From Deep To Disco Mix

Helena's sound as a DJ can't be nailed down as she cuts between genres with ease. So no tags needed.. She is capable of handling perfectly an audience independently of musical origin.

As a producer this obsessive nature comes across in the intensity of her music. Her debut release 'Actio Reactio' just came out on Actress's Werk discs imprint as well as a collaboration with F#X as 'Black Sites' on PAN.

In 2015 she established her own label "Return To Disorder", a name inspired from a World War I art movement, with two exciting releases and a third one that will follow is from the Moscow Death Disco vs Le Chocolat Noir. The label’s debut from Leicester-based psych-rock band Children Of Leir. Judging by her aesthetics, we should definitely keep an eye on her upcoming moves...

Hi Guys,

Tearable Techno Radio. In the next few weeks I will be uploading ten episodes where you will, hopefully hear me progress. Because that’s what this is all about.

A short backstory:

Just-in-Case introduced me to Techno about two years ago. After a mindblowing event at Paradigm Groningen, he gave me a Hercules MK4 to play around with. A couple of months of heavily relying on the Synch button followed. It was cool to learn to DJ, but I felt I missed a connection with the music. So I decided to learn to beatmatch and found some beat-up CDJ800 MK2 for 50 euros. I fixed them up and started playing.

Since then, I’ve been messing around,  but never felt like I really progressed as a DJ. After watching way too many AVGN and JonTron videos and listening to Slam! Radio I decided it’s okay to show that you are actually crap a first. 

Rome ne s’est pas faite en un jour. Every episode I will highlight the changes we made and post where I got the inspiration from. So if you feel like showcasing your sets as well, tag along. For the rest. Just enjoy and comments are highly appreciated!
