The first draft was completed in June of 2019, and the excitement of having just made new wave friends is alive in this tune. We're in a Venus retrograde now so all aesthetic throwbacks are fair game! I also wanted to touch back on a more melodic feel after going so "process based" with this last release, whut with all the skratches n bass fills n whut not. This is just a melody that i loved, that over the last 4 years I can't stop listening to. So here it is! But how much Caffeine is too much? Sometimes it eases depression but exacerbates anxiety! I made this tune at my favorite coffee shop in my hometown of Ossining New York, at the very same table where I made "TAKE ME", which landed on Plastician's Wavepool 3. That table brought me good luck. I hope u enjoy this dose of Caffeine!
