After his massive Manual debut 'Break Through' released on the Explorations album earlier this year, which was followed by a remix for Paul Hazendonk and a three tracker on 90watts, it was only a matter of time before KAMADEV would make his solo single debut on Manual Music, and here it is!

'Allegory' is an emotional vocal driven piece of melodic house / techno. Delicate and fierce at the same time, dreamy but with an infectious drive that will move the dance floor. It comes in both the original full length version as well as a radio / streaming friendly edit.

On remix duties we welcome back familiar faces Rafael Cerato and Qbical who both deliver their totally different but equally cool interpretation of KAMADEV's original.

The first EP of 2020 will be in the name of the Italian Alberth (@official-alberth). With his productions he gains a lot of support and through 2019 he worked his way up. He provided three originals, with ‘Focus’ as title track, and the remix is coming from the Italian, Berlin based, duo The Ancient Memories (@the-ancient-memories).

The first track of the EP is called ‘Focus’. As the name already says the track is focused on one particular magical lead. This floating lead is accompanied by some in-the-face drums and atmospheric sounds, which all together created a really effective track. 

‘Wanderlast’ is the second track of the EP, which is a beautiful one. Through the track more and more got revealed of the intriguing high pitched main synth. Even though the track is really atmospheric, Alberth managed to add a certain groove to the percussion.

The third track, ‘The Landing’, makes you feel like you are hovering somewhere high in the sky. The lead is drifting through the track and got strengthened by some balanced higher sounds. 

The Ancient Memories gave ‘The Landing’ a little bit more power by adding some heavier synths to the floating lead of the original. Every time listening to this remix, you will discover something new, which makes this an impressive end to an impressive EP.

‘The concept of this track came when I was playing around with ways of framing your life and your purpose.

The track has a sinister overtone but is meant to be positive. If your life was a movie. This would be the final scene.

I wanted you to feel like you had pushed and pushed and overcame so many obstacles and eventually ended the movie or the film of your life at this nostalgic climax.

Me teasing the different styles of beats and giving time in the track to reflect really switches the way your brain relates to this track. It triggers something primal.

The string pattern at the end still gives me goose bumps. It really makes me feel and think of how much I had to push to get here. How many wrong turns I took. The risks I had to take. But I still persevered because I want the final scene of my movie to be a peak point and not a dead note.

I want no regrets and I feel like I get that message across with this track a lot. I know it resonates with a lot of people on a much deeper level.’ – Dissolt
