J.D. Jaber - "Don't Stop Lovin'". This song is original from 1983 published by the legendary label Memory Records, its composer was the great Antonello Gabelli (Cheaps, Duke Lake and Faxe among others) 

This musical theme is considered as one of the great Icons of the Italo Disco and masterpiece of Memory Records in its beginnings.

The voice in this masterful musical work is by Paradiso Gilioli and the arrangements were made by Antonello Gabelli himself, Paradiso Gilioli and the great Stefano Cundari.

This Reissue comes with a remix by the legendary Flemming Dalum and on top a special ZYX Remix by Victor Ark from the label Blanco y Negro Music.

Davies’ “De D.J. Redde Mij Vannacht”. A delightful quirky take on Indeep’s classic “Last Night The DJ Saved My Life”. The original 7” single saw its first and last press in 1983, and recently has been in high demand amongst many avid diggers and collectors. Only a very limited amount of copies still exist worldwide. Along with the original cut on the A-side, we’re also treated by digger/DJ “Poko poko” on the flip. With his graceful edited version, containing stylish arrangements and subtle layering of drums and synths, we’re hitting the dancefloors ready to be saved! Only available on 7” 45 RPM vinyl, with fully restored artwork by Tom de Meer

Claptrap label boss Vanity Project’s next release consists of a four-track EP entitled “City Elastic” for London-based Midnight People’s first release due this May. Two stunning made-with-love originals paired with two enticing remixes provided by REES (Me Me Me, Paradiso Records) and Swales (Rhythm Department, Houseum), who delivered interesting interpretations to enrich even more this promising release.

While the title track is filled with hypnotic chords, bearing with it an upbeat driving energy, the remix by REES, the one we were kindly requested to premiere, brings a Dark Disco touch to the “City”. The British DJ, producer and label owner spared no efforts to hand over a delightful version, topping energetic broken beats with well-crafted synth layers, a throbbing bassline and some dazzling atmospheric FXs that seem to have been taken from retro space video games. A solid remix for a solid original.
