Raw Analog Funk duo Ben Men and Rob Malone are now stepping out with a brand new label project, Mondo Dingo Records. The Paris based indie promises to be a purveyor of all sounds deep and soulful and the first release comes from self-taught multi-instrumentalist Pinaud with remixes from Parisian based Peter Raw and the Raw Analog Funk band themselves. Pinaud's style is imprinted in everything he does - intense grooves, deep basslines and a lightness of touch that has helped make him a well-established musician and DJ in Rio de Janeiro. His mixture of organic sounds with the bass and beats of house music and plenty of soul and 70s disco overtones has taken him to events and clubs all over Latin American and labels like Manga Rosa and Barco do Amor. The Carioca self-taught multi-instrumentalist dedicates this EP to the "cidade maravilhosa." His stunning opener 'Afrojazz' is a lush, soulful house track packed with musicianship. It has live sounding broken beat drums, gorgeous chords and a real spiritual expressiveness in the Rhodes jams and glistening chords that leaves you feeling uplifted. Peter Raw has been playing the sax since the age of six, has studied music formally and has influences that run from house to jazz to hip hop. He has run his own Run With Us parties at the Batofar and has put out music on French labels Beat X Changers and Sounds Benefit. His version is more playful and upbeat, with swaggering drums and big loops, dancing chords making you move your hips and a perfectly sunny disposition. Raw Analog Funk aka Ben Men and Rob Malone have been key players since the 90s in their native France and beyond. They promoted at the legendary REX Club, have held various key DJ residencies and are co-founders of BTRAX Records as well as 45RDB Records, while also releasing under the BROZ Inc alias with artists like Mr K Alexi Shelby. They bring all their vast know how to a superb remix that has whispered vocal ad libs and jazzy chord work over a stomping Afro House groove. It's as perfectly organic and loose as they come. Last of all, 'Georges Brassens' is a real basement jazz house workout with super warm chords and great swing in the drums, off-grid percussion and steamy French language female vocals that add a certain je ne sais quoi. This is a bold and brilliant start to what is sure to become another essential label from the ever innovative Raw Analog Funk duo.

Afrojazz EP

PREMIERE : Pinaud - Afrojazz

Benjamin Fröhlich's four-track EP "Club Fantasy" was our first release this year - now it gets the full "remixed-by-four" treatment it deserves.

First one up is the currently New York based German DJ and musician Annegret Fiedler aka Perel with her take on "Escape". She adds a bit of a "bite" to the warm, emotional, and cinematic Italo soundscape of Benjamin's original version thus creating an even more hypnotic tune with a cutting edge.

Berlin based DJ and producer Alex Kassian puts his hands on the title track "Club Fantasy" by slightly increasing the tempo and adding some great percussion elements, yet reducing the typical 303 elements a tiny little bit - a total winner on every dancefloor. 

DJ City's remix of the same track is also faster than the original and much more on a stomping ground - he takes no prisoners - it's a straight into-your-face affair with a mighty mighty bass drum.

Last but not least Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht sprinkle their magic dust on "Escape". Their version is even more dreamy than Benjamin's original version. It's sheer beauty and deserves to be played in the early morning hours of every club night - as long as we all get the chance to re-experience those sacred moments again of course … 

Finally we've got all the radio DJs and stations and streaming platforms covered with Perel's "Spotify" edit - say no more - 100% efficacy.

Anna Karina, Ukrainian music producer based in Berlin,
has released her first EP!

This EP showcases synthesizers and VCV Rack. The sound explores the sensations of wind and the vast, heavy landscape of the mind.
Rather than imitating the physical world, it channels perception — translating emotional states into abstract sonic forms.
Noise and glitch elements represent the raw, untamed aspects of the ocean, not as it sounds, but as it feels.

Through generative techniques, where algorithms influence structure and detail, the composition mimics the unpredictable nature of waves, thoughts, and shifting inner currents. The result is not a direct simulation, but an evolving soundscape that captures the movement and instability of an internal ocean.

This ocean is metaphorical — an ocean of emotion, memory, and perception. It has little in common with literal wave sounds but resonates as a deep, sensory reflection of a mental state.

The goal is not realism, but transformation: to turn the intangible into an auditory environment. This process creates a unique listening space where meaning is felt, not explained.
The result is a deeply personal landscape, shaped by resonance, dissonance, and silence, where the listener is free to drift, dissolve, or reassemble within the sound.

I want you to remember abstract soundscapes that evoke memory, mind, emotion, and altered states.
